Air Fryer Advanced (New!): If you thought air fryers were just for making crispy fries or reheating pizza, think again! Get ready to level up your air frying skills as Kirsten’s demonstration takes you on a journey through the ins and outs of air fryer cooking, showing you how to create a wide variety of dishes without turning on your stove. You’ll learn how to whip up delicious and healthy meals Like Tandoori Salmon and Potatoes or Basque Style Cheesecake in no time, all without sacrificing flavor or texture. Whether you’re an omnivore, a veggie fanatic, or a dessert enthusiast there are recipes for everyone. This live class will be recorded so you can revisit the lesson on demand.
Air Fryer Veggies: Using an Air Fryer to cook vegetables is quick—and the healthy results are delicious! In this class Kirsten will demonstrate a variety of recipes using in-season local and/or commonly available vegetables including Lemon Pepper Broccoli, Miso Sesame Kale Chips, and Roasted Sweet Potatoes. Participants will receive an extensive handout along with the link to join prior to class. All About Pasta in the Instant Pot: Why wait for a large pot of water to boil or haul a heavy pot over to the sink to drain noodles? Using the Instant Pot to cook pasta is fast and easy. In this class Kirsten will demonstrate a classic Mac and Cheese, comforting BBQ Beef and Pasta Casserole, and spicy Dan Dan Noodles. Breakfast Meal Prep (New!): Need new make-ahead breakfast recipes to start your day in a healthy way? Chili Night with your Instant Pot: The electric pressure cooker makes a faster and more flavorful Pot of chili compared to stove top or slow cooker—and you can make your sides in the Instant Pot, too! In this live online class Kirsten will demonstrate Easy Weeknight Chili, Turkey Verde Chili, and vegan Quinoa Chili, along with Instant Pot “Baked” Potatoes and Loaded Cornbread. Cook Along With Me Noodle Soups: Discover how easy it is to make soups in the Instant Pot and have a pot of hot soup ready to eat at the end of class! Instant Pot Basics #1 Intro to the Instant Pot: You’ve heard about this new kitchen appliance. Maybe you got one as a gift but haven’t yet opened the box. Now is the time! In this introductory class my goal is to get you comfortable with your electronic pressure cooker. I'll be making appetizers like deviled eggs from Easy Peel Hard Cooked Eggs, Fast Rosemary ‘Roasted’ Potatoes, and Cocktail Meatballs. We’ll talk about the pressure cooker terminology and share ideas for how you can best utilize your Instant Pot in your household meal planning.
Instant Pot Basics #2 Cooking from Frozen: Forgot to thaw the package of meat and it’s dinnertime already? No worries—the electric pressure cooker can help. In this class we’ll discuss cooking frozen meats under pressure while I demonstrate Creamy Chicken & Wild Rice Soup. Handout includes tips for how to prepare larger cuts so that they are ready to go direct from freezer to Instant Pot.
Instant Pot Basics #3 All in One Instant Pot Cooking: Use the electric pressure cooker to prepare your entree and a side vegetable at the same time, freeing you up to enjoy a more hands off kitchen experience. In this class we’ll discuss several methods of all in one cooking while I demonstrate Turkey and Wild Rice Meatloaf with Sweet Potatoes and more.
Instant Pot Basics #4 Pot in Pot Cooking aka Egg bites, Cheesecake, and more!: You’ve got an Instant Pot. You may have some staple recipes you make time and again, but are you PiP curious? In this class we’ll delve into Pot-in-Pot cooking in the electronic pressure cooker. From Sous Vide Sausage & Egg Bites, to Individual Steel Cut Oatmeal, to my personal favorite—Instant Pot New York Style Cheesecake—I'll help you on your way to being comfortable using this terrific kitchen tool.
Instant Pot Holiday Hacks: Looking for a way to shake up your holiday cooking routines and impress your guests with some delicious, time-saving dishes? From turkey stock to cranberry sauce, make ahead mashed potatoes to sweet pumpkin cheesecake, Kirsten’s cool cooking hacks with simplify your kitchen efforts during the hectic holiday season. Summer Sippers: Quench your thirst during the dog days of summer with this trio of treats. In this class Kirsten will demonstrate how to do a water bath canned Bumbleberry Syrup which is a shelf stable sauce that you can flavor sparkling water or cocktails to get that summer flavor any time of year. She will also make two infusions that can be stored in the fridge: a Blueberry Ginger Shrub and a Rosemary Lemon Syrup. These concoctions can be added to cocktails, iced tea or lemonade, or fizzy water to cool off with homemade flavor.
Summer Snacks and Sippers (New!): Join Kirsten in her home kitchen in this live online cooking class as she demonstrates a variety of recipes to brighten up your summer, including quick air fryer vegetable-forward seasonal snacks plus a Blueberry-Ginger Shrub and Rosemary Lemon Syrup to liven up your warm weather libations.
